The estimated freight during the STA process when sellers place an order on the platform includes:

  • Pickup fees (if applicable)
  • Freight
  • Customs clearance-related fees

However, please note that it does not include Japanese import tariffs and consumption tax or VAT (if any). If you need to calculate taxes and fees, you can contact AMASS E-COMMERCE customer service for confirmation after placing the order.

Q6 What customs declaration modes does Amazon SEND support for the US site?
If you are shipping to the US site, you have two options:
▶ For air freight, you can choose to declare customs using the seller's or freight forwarder's name.
▶ For ocean freight, the default is for the freight forwarder to declare customs using EOR. Sellers do not need to provide an export EOR, and customs declaration fees are already included in the quotation. For sellers who need to apply for tax refunds, they can choose to use their own name for general trade customs declaration, but there will be additional agency fees.

Generally, ocean freight takes about 20-40 days. Specific delivery times are affected by cargo volume, destination warehouse, and whether accelerated services are selected. To avoid peak-period warehousing fees, it is recommended that you plan your shipments in advance, especially around holidays when logistics may be delayed.

Q11 Is the delivery time displayed on the platform accurate?
Delivery time accuracy is a concern for everyone!
The ocean freight delivery times on the platform are relatively reliable. In most cases, actual transportation times are faster than those displayed. You can optimize delivery times by selecting different transportation methods to ensure on-time arrival.
